Is stringanza a live band or a string ensemble?
Stringanza is an instrumental Chinese String Quartet or Duo, suited to polished ambience and featured sets rather than vocals or dance-floor entertainment.
how do i specify performance sets and duration?
You may let us know how long you would like Stringanza to perform for and how you would like to break the duration into different sets. For example, a 60-minute performance can be broken down into 2 sets of 30 minutes with a short break in between the sets. We are happy to advise the set breakdown based on your programme flow as well.
does stringanza require any audio equipment support?
Yes, we typically require audio equipment support provided to us unless the venue and audience size is small enough for us to play acoustically. Not in contact with any sound and equipment vendor or events company? Let us know and we will recommend our preferred sound vendor for your consideration!
does stringanza take song requests?
As our repertoire is specially arranged to allow the different instruments to blend harmoniously together, we are unable to accept any ad-hoc song requests. However, advance song requests could be made, subject to availability and additional charges.
how much lead time do i need to engage stringanza?
To allow ample preparation time, we recommend a lead time of 1 month. We also encourage you to contact us early to check availability, especially during the peak festive periods like Chinese New Year and Mid-Autumn.
